Aly Rourke is the Director of Iowa One, a role she has embraced since its beginning in 2021. With 15 years of coaching experience, she leads the 12U team and two 16U teams this season. She has also been officiating high school volleyball for nine years, showcasing her dedication to the sport. A passionate advocate for volleyball education, she is committed to empowering coaches and players alike. Outside of her professional life, Aly is a devoted mother to Kody and Taylor, as well as a pet owner to Milo, Lola, and Axel. She enjoys traveling and beach outings in her spare time. Excitingly, she is also looking forward to becoming a grandmother this year.

Sydney is a dedicated volleyball coach and former athlete with a strong background in the sport. A graduate of Waterloo Christian School, she excelled as a libero on the varsity volleyball team throughout her high school years. With extensive experience in club volleyball, Sydney has transitioned into coaching, currently leading the junior high volleyball team at WCS and the 12s Iowa One team. Her previous coaching roles include guiding 5th and 6th graders and a 14u team for Iowa One.

Bailey Vanlengen is a master's candidate in social work and a former club and high school volleyball player.  She's passionate about mentoring young athletes and fostering a love for the sport. Her inaugural season of coaching will bring lots of excitement and eagerness to connect with her team.

With five years as a High School Varsity Coach and School Sports Program Developer, along with two years as an Athletic Director and four years as a Club Coach, Angela brings a wealth of experience to the field. She is a strong advocate for continual learning, understanding that both successes and failures are vital to growth. This season, Angela looks forward to seeing her team achieve new milestones and develop their skills.

Lakin Joerger, a dedicated volleyball player since 4th grade, transitioned into coaching during college. With 5 years of experience coaching club volleyball, she is passionate about teaching valuable skills to her players and witnessing their growth.

Taylor Tisue serves as the Assistant Director of Iowa One and is the head coach for the 18U Taylor team. With nine years of experience in competitive volleyball coaching, she is dedicated to continuous learning and adaptation in a sport that is ever-evolving. Taylor has a particular passion for defensive strategies, which she emphasizes in her coaching approach.

Originally from Tripoli, Lauren Block and her husband, Lake now call Cedar Falls home, where she practices as a chiropractor. With a volleyball career that began in the 4th grade, she has achieved significant milestones, including being part of two state qualifying teams and seven years in club volleyball. Lauren is excited to return to coaching as the assistant for the 12U Aly team, looking forward to mentoring young athletes and enhancing their skills while instilling a deep appreciation for the game.

Nicole Waters is a senior at the University of Northern Iowa, pursuing a degree in Sports Public Relations. With a lifelong passion for volleyball, she achieved the remarkable feat of qualifying for state volleyball three consecutive years during her high school career. This fall marks her second year coaching with Iowa One, where she previously served as an assistant coach for a 14s team and will now take on the role of assistant coach for the 12s. Nicole is eager to work with a new group of young athletes and is committed to developing their skills throughout the season.

Faith Miller works full time as an esthetican in Waterloo. She has played club volleyball for several seasons throughout high school and is excited for the season to start to meet everyone.

Grace Phillips is entering her senior year at Don Bosco this Fall. With a passion for volleyball that began in 3rd grade, she is excited to embark on her fourth season with Iowa One, now stepping into a coaching role. Grace looks forward to fostering a love for the sport among her players and building strong connections with them.

Kenedie, a senior at Cedar Falls High School, has been involved in volleyball for seven years and is entering her third year of coaching. She looks forward to fostering teamwork and skill development with a wonderful group of girls this season.

Rylee Schwarze is a recent Tripoli High School graduate currently studying nursing at Hawkeye Community College. Having played volleyball since the 4th grade, she is enthusiastic about guiding young athletes in their journey, aiming to enhance their skills and personal growth. ​

Hayley Brown, a Dunkerton, IA native, is passionate about spending quality time with friends and family. An avid runner and dog lover, she enjoys exploring new places through travel. With a background in volleyball that began in 4th grade and continued through high school, she is thrilled to embark on her first year as a coach and looks forward to connecting with her team this season.

Isabella Meyer is a recent graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock, preparing to embark on her academic journey at Hawkeye Community College this Fall. With a passion for volleyball that began in 5th grade, she has embraced every opportunity the sport has offered her. This year marks her inaugural coaching experience, and she is eager to explore the dynamics of this role. Isabella looks forward to connecting with her team and creating a memorable season.
